So I recently decied to go ahead and start collecting my own dragon eggs at the Dragon Cave [link] . It's fun and cute, and I have four little eggs just waiting to be hatched. But in order for them to all hatch, I need help from friendly folks who will click on them! The more views and clicks each eggs gets, the better chance it has to hatch into a little dragon! Wow. Just wow. I completely agree with the comments made earlier by *kidaru and *okashichan. I'm a paying member of this site, and as such, I expect to be at least treated with RESPECT if and when I have a need to contact dA staff, whether they be paid or volunteer. And I don't particularly care that someone is in a "bad mood."

This is an ARTIST community, and I've seen a lot of stuff on this site that I consider absolute trash but which others have praised as masterful. Everyone's definition of and opinion of art is not the same, and for a staff member to decide to RIDICULE another artist's opinion of a piece of art is completely and unforgivably rude.

I don't care how long this "ekud" has been on the site, or how many other places he's helped to found, there are lines that are not crossed and he just took a flying leap across it. And for the CEO of the site to not only do nothing about it, but *defend* that action is disrespectful to the entire community you claim to care so much about.

A simple "Thank you for your suggestion." was all that was required from "ekud." It makes no promises, and makes no judgment against or about the person making the suggestion...but he instead chose to be insulting, arrogant, and disrespectful to another member of the community who was attempting to be involved.

How about you give your friend a lecture on "love" before lecturing everyone else about it, since he appears to have been the person failing to practice it.
