I Will Love You...

I recently commissioned the wonderful and talented to do a few drawings for me of my character in the Heroes of Rokugan campaign. She is an absolutely amazing artist and I highly recommend that everyone who sees this rush out and commission her as well! ^_^

Heroes of Rokugan is a kind of "living" campaign in the Legend of the Five Rings game system, which is a fantasy RPG based on a feudal Japanese culture. I've been playing L5R for over a decade now, and participated in HoR since the current campaign began about four years ago.

This drawing shows my character, Seppun Toshihime, about a year and a half into the campaign. She is standing in the garden of the Imperial Palace with Toturi Kobashi, one of the twin eldest sons of the Emperor, as he explains that there are no further impediments to their desire to be officially betrothed, if she will have him.

And of course, what girl turns down a marriage proposal from a drop dead gorgeous prince she's in love with? ^_~

Sadly...there are seldom happy endings in samurai drama...
